National Day of Mourning
We pause every April 28th to remember workers killed and those who still suffer from a work-related injury or illness —their lives and livelihoods forever compromised. But we can never pause our awareness & prevention efforts.
While many Day of Mourning ceremonies won’t be happening this year because of COVID-19, we are encouraging everyone to show their support today by observing a moment of silence at 11:00am.
Today, as we remember and honour the lives lost or injured, let’s renew our commitment to improving health and safety in the workplaces.
